Kevin Brown

Kevin has served in the fire service for over 22 years and recently joined Teton County Fire and Rescue after nearly a decade as Fire Marshal with Ogden City Fire Department in Utah. As Deputy Chief and Fire Marshal, he oversees fire prevention, inspections, investigations, and community safety programs, ensuring the residents of Teton County receive professional and effective fire and emergency services.

Kevin’s interest in the fire service began while ski patrolling at Snowbasin Ski Resort, where he witnessed the dedication and professionalism of the local fire department on emergency scenes. He considers it a privilege to serve the community he calls home.

He holds numerous certifications, including paramedic, fire investigator, fire inspector, and plans examiner, and has attended the National Fire Academy multiple times to continue developing his skills. Outside of work, Kevin enjoys skiing, mountain biking, hunting, and hiking in the Teton backcountry.
