Wildfire Mitigation Coordinator:

TCFPD is accepting applications for the position of Wildfire Mitigation Coordinator. This executive leadership position is responsible for developing and implementing wildfire mitigation, community risk reduction, and fuels management programs throughout Teton County. The Coordinator will work closely with local, state, and federal partners to enhance community resilience, oversee seasonal fuels reduction projects, pursue grant funding opportunities, and support wildland fire operations.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive wildland fire experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a passion for protecting communities and natural resources. This position offers the opportunity to live and work in beautiful Teton Valley while helping shape the future of wildfire preparedness and resilience across the region.

 Seasonal Wildland Firefighter

Seasonal Wildland Firefighter:

TCFPD is accepting applications for candidates to fill Seasonal Wildland Firefighter positions. Seasonal Wildland Firefighters will work on wildland fires and hazard fuels reduction projects funded by grants on an as needed basis. The department provides training and supervision for this position. Considerable time and commitment are necessary to obtain required qualifications for this position.

Teton County Fire Protection District is an all-hazards response agency with a combination staff of professional career and reserve (part time/volunteer) firefighters.
